Aid4Mail 4 can filter/search email messages (header and/or body text) by date or keyword. Aid4Mail also supports logical operators, wildcards and regular expressions. But it cannot search attachments.
However you can use Aid4Mail to extract attachments and then use X1, or some other desktop search tool, to search the attachments.
Aid4Mail 5 can search email attachments as well as files contained in zipped files that are attachments.
