Can I use Aid4Mail to move my email to or from Windstream?

Yes! You can use Aid4Mail to migrate your mail to and from Windstream.

How to export your mail from Windstream to another mail application:

  1. Select IMAP in the  "Mail Source" screen of Aid4Mail
  2. Populate the "IMAP Settings" with the following information:

       o Server name: imap.windstream.net
       o Port: 993
       o Timeout: 90
       o Connection security: SSL/TLS
       o Namespace: default
       o User name: your email address
       o Password: your email account password

  3. If configured correctly, you will see a list of your folders in the following screen. Here you can select the mail folders you wish to transfer.
  4. Follow the Aid4Mail wizard and select your "Target Settings" then start your migration.


To import your mail to Windstream from another mail application, follow the steps below:

  1. Select your current mail  application/service in the "Mail Source" screen of Aid4Mail.
  2. Follow the Aid4Mail Wizard  and populate the settings for your "Mail Source".
  3. Select "IMAP" as  your "Target" in the "Target Settings".
  4. Populate the "IMAP Settings" with the following information:

       o Server name: imap.windstream.net
       o Port: 993
       o Timeout: 90
       o Connection security: SSL/TLS
       o Namespace: default
       o User name: your email address
       o Password: your email account password

  5. If configured correctly, you  will see a list of your folders in the following screen. Here you can select  the mail folders you wish to set as your "Target IMAP Folder"
  6. Follow the Aid4Mail wizard  and start your migration.
