Old Program Icon on new Notetab version???
I've used Notetab for many years. I love the program icon on version 6.2 with the red notepad and the white plus sign. It makes the program and text files easy to spot in a file list or the desktop.
I dislike the new program icon because it blends in too easily and does not stand out like the older icon did.
Is there any way to have the old program icon with the newest version of Notetab??
Thanks!!

Hi John,
I converted this question into a topic as I thought there might be others out there who have the same question as you.
To change the NoteTab icon back to the old version, you need to locate the NoteTab shortcut on your desktop, then right-click and select "Properties".
Once you're in properties, click on the "Shortcut" tab and then click on "Change Icon" you can then select one of the icon options that appear.
If you want to change more than just the desktop icon, there is a detailed explanation of how to do this in Windows here.
Let us know if you have any trouble!
Kind regards,

Thank you for the reply, but that didn’t fix what I wanted. J The only thing your method changed was the icon shortcut on the desktop.
I’s like for the icon in the apps list to change (to the old red one), but it is still the new brown icon.
I’d also like the icon when I pin Notetab to the taskbar to be the old red one, but it is also the new brown one, and I’d like the icon for associated files (.txt, etc.) to be the old red one and but it is also the new brown one.
Is it possible to make any and all icons associated with Notetab and files associated with Notetab to be the old red one??
