I cannot see options to process Office Outlook mail in Aid4Mai. Why?

Make sure Microsoft Outlook or an Exchange Server MAPI client is correctly installed on your system. Aid4Mail cannot process MAPI mail accounts, PST, and MSG files if Extended MAPI is not available. Extended MAPI is usually installed along with Microsoft Outlook.

32-bit or 64-bit - The standard download of Aid4Mail is compatible only with Outlook 32-bit. However, we do have a version of Aid4Mail which is compatible with Outlook 64-bit. You can download it here.

If you have Outlook 2010 or 2013 installed, you may be experiencing a Click-to-Run compatibility issue. This is the default setup for the Microsoft Office Home and Student and for Microsoft Office Home and Business when you download directly from Microsoft. In this mode, Outlook and MAPI features are “isolated” from the rest of Windows so that third-party add-ins and programs cannot access them. Visit the Microsoft Click-to-Run page for instructions on re-installing Office without the Click-to-Run setup.

If you do not have Office Outlook or an Exchange Server MAPI client, you can download and install the free 30-day trial version of Outlook from Microsoft’s website.

Unlike Aid4Mail Console, the current GUI version of Aid4Mail cannot export a source MAPI profile or PST file to a target MAPI profile or PST file – the workaround is to first export your emails to the Outlook MSG format, and then re-export those files to your target format.
